L'Austral's genesis traces back to a transformative journey. Pauline, Breton, and Laurent, disillusioned by conventional careers, embarked on a year-long odyssey seeking connection with nature. Their Australian agricultural immersion ignited a passion for winemaking. Returning to France, Pauline pursued oenology training while inspired by mentors like Melaric and Castle Tour Grise. In 2016, Francoise & Philippe Gourdon entrusted them with 4 hectares of biodynamic vines. With meticulous mentorship and a commitment to organic practices, L'Austral was born. Their story encapsulates the essence of dreaming, learning, and embracing the journey to create wines that reflect their passion and dedication.
